New York University Tisch School of the Arts invites your students to develop their skills in filmmaking and screenwriting this summer! Students will earn college credit while building their artistic portfolios and creating stories with peers from around the world. The workshops are open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL FILMMAKERS WORKSHOP
Students will work in online crews to develop their directing, shooting, and editing skills. They will create a music video, documentary, and narrative film.
ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL SCREENWRITERS WORKSHOP
Students will learn the basic principles of writing for film and television. At the end of the workshop, students will have a short screenplay and a synopsis for a feature film and television series.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Students must submit the following:
- Online application form
- Personal statement
- Creative résumé
- English language proficiency test results (non-native English-speaking applicants)
- Unofficial high school transcripts (to be uploaded with the application)
