St. Anthony Catholic High School Counseling Department
Welcome to the St. Anthony Catholic High School Counseling Department
Our mission statement: The Counseling Department at St. Anthony High School seeks to be a place of advocacy for students and their families so that students can reach their full potential academically, socially, professionally, and emotionally. We support students by following the four components of the Texas School Counseling Program which includes:
- Individual Planning through college, career and military readiness,
- Guidance Curriculum through life skills coaching and guidance programming,
- Responsive Services through mental health and wellness services,
- System Support through school programming support and assistance
College, Career and Military Readiness (CCMR)
Students are guided in planning, monitoring and managing their own educational, career personal and social development. This includes planning courses during their years at St. Anthony Catholic High School. Each student is provided with the necessary steps to help them reach his/her established goals.
Life Skills Coaching and Guidance
The life skills component includes school wide lessons and small group counseling services designed to help all students develop competence in essential life skills. Guidance lessons and small group counseling address topics such as stress management, social media, healthy relationships, and self-care.
Mental Health and Wellness Servies
